Academy

The Academy is open to children ages 7-12 as an supplemental program to help young players improve their individual soccer skills, gain better recognition of the tactical aspects of the game, and prepare them for more competitive game play such as select soccer. Recreational players interested in SouthStars SC are encouraged to attend.

The Academy is held every April-May. Instruction includes in twelve 2 hour installments each Monday and Tuesday from 6:00-8:00pm. During these adult-led sessions, players work with SouthStar SC coaches assisted by boy and girl high school players in an accelerated, coed environment.

Each player receives an Academy t-shirt and six weeks of instruction. Space is limited to 50 registrations!

Please note that SouthStars SC tryout registration (https://southstarssc.com/register) is open for the 2022/2023 season. Registration is required. We are excited to see some of the Academy players at tryouts!
