Competitive Soccer

SouthStars SC runs teams for U9 through U14. SSSC typically does not run U16+ teams, and runs U15 teams for “trapped” 8th graders on a case-by-case basis. SouthStars SC teams typically play in the Buckeye Premier League or the Miami Valley YouthSoccer Association for Fall and Spring leagues. Teams play in local and regional tournaments, including out of state tournaments in Indiana, Michigan, and Kentucky, and Tennessee. Teams practice 2 to 3 times per week from late July through late October and early March through late May. Professional Training is included for U11+ teams. Winter training includes indoor practice from sessions early January through early March, SouthStars SC Futsal intra-club matches, and local indoor leagues (e.g., at The Field and Kingdom). Full year fees average about $600-$800 per player.
